Victoria Beckham Fuels The Spice Girls' Olympics Closing Ceremony Performance Rumours

The 'Spice Up Your Life' singer tweets picture of microphone as it's claimed the girl group have begun rehearsals.

Victoria Beckham has fuelled rumours that The Spice Girls are set to reunite for a performance at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The 'Wannabe' stars are just one of a number of acts who have been linked to the event at the Olympic Stadium on 12th August.

They have yet to comment on the rumours, but it has been claimed today (2nd August) that The Spice Girls have been rehearsing for the closing ceremony in London.

Victoria also increased the speculation by posting a picture of a microphone on Twitter.

The image, which shows a diamanté microphone, was accompanied by the message: "Look what I found!! X vb."

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he will be taking part in the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony – performing on stage with Pink Floyd.

The 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' star has teased plans for a performance recently admitting he "may or may not" be playing with a "big rock band".

It was initially reported to be The Who, but Ed has now confirmed he will be joining members of Pink Floyd on stage.
