The 'Come & Get It' star's good friend has offered her best wishes after her first VMA nod.
Selena Gomez has been congratulated on her first ever MTV Video Music Awards nomination this week by good friend Vanessa Hudgens.
The US star received a nod yesterday (17th July) in the MTV Video Music Awards 2013 announcements after her latest single 'Come & Get It' was nominated for Best Pop video.
Vanessa was asked about the nomination by Capital FM this week and exclusively offered her congratulations to the singer, who she recently starred alongside in the Hollywood movie Spring Breakers.
"Oh, get it girl!" Vanessa told Capital FM this week after being told the good news. "Not yet, I didn't know, I'm not up on this stuff!
"But she's amazing, she deserves it!" the High School Musical star added.
