Reports are linking Robbie Williams with a judge's role on the next series of The X-Factor.

It looks like there will be at least one vacant seat with Simon Cowell expected to focus all his attention on the US version.

One X Factor insider revealed: "Robbie is a huge name so would naturally be a massive ratings hit. Not only that, he is also straight-talking and comical.

"We all understand that right now America is where Simon's focus has to be," the source told the Daily Star. "There aren't many people that can fill his shoes, but Robbie just might be able to do it."

Now of course we know Robbie will be busy in the summer on the Take That tour but that's only a few auditions he would miss!
