Rita Ora On Playing the Jingle Bell Ball 2012: "You Never Know What To Expect!" - Audio

The 'Shine Ya Light' singer opened up to Capital ahead of her set at the annual radio event.

Rita Ora has spoken of her excitement at playing the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball this weekend and has admitted you "never know what to expect" at the event.

The 'R.I.P.' singer is set to make her first appearance at the Jingle Bell Ball for the second night of this year's event (9th December), where she will share a bill with the likes of Pink, Girls Aloud, The Wanted and Calvin Harris.

"I don't know, because you never know what to expect!" Rita revealed exclusively to Capital, ahead of the Jingle Bell Ball this weekend. "[I'm] so overwhelmed, and I never, ever forget how important it is that my track is being played by you guys and my fans are loving it.

"That's all I care about, so thank you guys!" Rita added, as a message to her fans for their support. 

This week also saw Rita announcing a new headline tour of the UK for 2013 which kicks off at the Manchester Academy on 28th January next year, playing across cities including Sheffield, Cardiff and London before ending with a show at the O2 Academy in Bournemouth on 8th February.

'Shine Ya Light' singer Rita has also reportedly been cast as one of the lead villains in upcoming Hollywood blockbuster Fast And The Furious 6, opposite a cast including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. 

The Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball 2012 takes place at the O2 Arena in London this weekend (8th and 9th December) with a huge line-up also including Bruno Mars, One Direction, JLS, Little Mix, The Script, Rizzle Kicks and Cheryl Cole.
