Rihanna Arrives In Tokyo Ahead Of Japanese Festival Performance

The 'We Found Love' singer celebrated her father's birthday with him on the flight over.

Rihanna was pictured arriving into Tokyo, Japan today ahead of her appearance at the country's Summer Sonic Festival 2012 this coming weekend.

The 'Where Have You Been' singer landed at Narita International Airport today (16th August) just outside of Tokyo, and was pictured heading through the terminal ready to prepare for her performance on Saturday (18th August) in Chiba.

Rihanan wore blue jeans, a black logo T-shirt, green leather jacket, heavy gold jewellery and a patriotic themed hangbag for her arrival, after confirming on Twitter she had been accompanied on the flight by her father Ronald Fenty.

"Me and pops spent his entire bday on the plane!!! SMH!!," Rihanna tweeted today, after wishing her dad a happy birthday on the social networking website.

Rihanna flew out to Japan after a short stay in Los Angeles following a recent visit to her home country of Barbados this past week, where she was joined by US chatshow host Oprah Winfrey to take a special edition of Oprah's Next Chapter.

Earlier today it emerged that Rihanna opens up about her controversial relationship with singer Chris Brown during the episode, and says she was in a "weird, confusing space" after their break-up. 

Rihanna is set to perform live for Summer Sonic Tokyo 2012 this Saturday 18th August at Chiba, Japan.
