Rihanna spills the beans on Drake romance

Rihanna has been talking about her past romance with singer Drake.

The ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ singer who released her fifth studio album this week was discussing the pair's past in an interview with American presenter Angie Martinez.

“We weren’t really sure what it was,” RiRi explained when asked if they once dated. “We just went out—my friends, his friends.”

“I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is, like it was what it was,” she continues. “We didn’t want to take it any further. It was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn’t want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time.”

Despite the lack of development from the romance, the pair have continued to be great friends with Drake even featuring on Ri-Ri’s next track, ‘What’s My Name?’

The video for the single sees the pair getting up close and personal which sparked fresh rumours of a romance despite Rihanna being in a relationship with L.A. Dodger Matt Kemp.
