The 'Bad Girls' rapper has been signed by Jay-Z management label and welcomed by Rihanna.

Rihanna is one of the first artist to welcome M.I.A. to US label Roc Nation, after the English singer and rapper signed a management deal with the company.

The 'We Found Love' singer posted a message to the 'Bad Girls' rapper last night (24th May) after it was announced that she had joined Jay-Z's company, which is also home to Rita Ora and Santigold.

"The nation keeps on growing," Roc Nation tweeted yesterday, while Rihanna then posted: "Welcome home MIA."

The 'Paper Planes' rapper was pictured out with Rihanna last weekend in London, after the two attended a birthday party for Jay-Z's manager Ty Ty.

Rihanna previously revealed she is M.I.A. when she tweeted out lyrics to her song 'Bad Girls'.

The 'You Da One' start posted: "My chain hits my chest when I'm banging on the radio."

Rihanna returned to the US earlier this week following her trip to the UK, arriving back in the country to perform her new single 'Where Have You Been' on American Idol.
