The 'You Da One' singer says she doesn't enjoy being single and wants to find love.

Rihanna has admitted she is looking for a new relationship and thinks being single is "overrated".

The 'We Found Love' singer has just returned to Los Angeles after a promotional visit to the UK, and says she wants to find someone to share her life with.

"Yes I am a single lady," Rihanna said on The Jonathan Ross Show this week. "This is not something I enjoy.

"Single life is overrated," she explained. "You always want to be single when you are in a relationship but trust me it is no bueno."

The 'Talk That Talk' singer says although she has "incredible experiences" while travelling the world with her music she wants a significant other to share them with.

"You don't want to live your life and then meet someone, you want to share your life with someone," Rihanna admitted to host Jonathan Ross. 'I feel like that is what I am missing right now."

The 'You Da One' singer described her ideal man as being "cool, fun, funny".

It was reported that during Rihanna's stay in London she spent time in a recording studio working on some new music.

Rihanna's appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show airs on ITV at 9.20 pm tomorrow (2rd March).
