Rihanna has revealed that she was reduced to teases by a video showing actor James Franco lip-synching to her song 'You Da One'.

The 127 Hours star posted the video on his official website last month – and you can watch it below now.

RiRi, who has previously told Capital she is a huge fan of the star, said she was sent a link to the cover via Twitter and felt humbled that he was also an admirer of her music.

"I love James Franco. Someone sent this to me via Twitter, and I watched that. I cried laughing," she told MTV News.

"First of all, I didn't recognize that it was him like that, and then I didn't recognize it was him singing my song. And it was kind of cool because I'm a huge fan of James Franco, so it was dope to know that he even knew my record."

James followed his recent Rihanna cover by unveiling a similar lip-synching video of him covering Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' .
