Rihanna To Star In New Fashion TV Series For Sky Living

Rihanna will both star in and executively produce a brand new television series for Sky Living HD.

The 'We Found Love' singer has signed on for her first television project, which will see Rihanna seeking out the next big UK fashion designer.

"I've always had a great love of fashion," Rihanna said following the announcement. "It's a constant source of inspiration and is a big reason why I've grown into the artist I am today.

"I have been very fortunate to work with some truly amazing designers and stylists throughout my career, and they have been instrumental in making sure my creative vision reaches the stage."

The currently untitled ten-part series will see Rihanna travelling the country and challenging young designers to create outfits for various celebrities and musicians.

She added: "I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts."

The winner of the series will receive the opportunity to create an outfit for Rihanna to wear on stage at Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park this July.

The new Sky Living HD series is due to launch this summer.
