Rihanna Overtakes Eminem To Become Most Liked Person On Facebook

The 'We Found Love' star has almost 62 million fans on the social networking site.

Rihanna has become the most liked person on Facebook after overtaking former champion Eminem.

The 'You Da One' singer has reached close to 62 million fans on the social networking site ahead of the rapper, who became the first star to hit 60 million back in July.

The Bajan star has 61,663,129 likes with the 'Stan' star trailing just slightly on 61,311,222 likes as of last count today (9^th October).

The news comes shortly after Lady Gaga was crowned as the Queen of Twitter, as she became the first person to reach 30 million followers.

The 'Marry The Night' star has equal strong presence on Facebook, as the fourth most popular star with just over 53 million likes.

Shakira remains in third position on the top five list with 54.8 million likes and the late Michael Jackson just under 52 million. 

Meanwhile, Rihanna is currently working on her seventh studio album and the follow up to 2011's 'Talk That Talk'.

She recently debuted her new single 'Diamonds' and will head out on a new world tour of the same name in early 2013.
