The 'We Found Love' singer has apparently been approached to perform a mini-concert at Westfield Stratford.

Rihanna has been offered £5 million to switch on the Christmas lights at Westfield Stratford later this year, according to reports.

The Bajan star, who turned on the lights at the Shepherd's Bush shopping centre two years ago, is also said to have been asked to perform a short gig for fans at the switching on ceremony.

"Rihanna's thrilled she has been asked again," a source told The Sun. "She knows it's a big deal and is totally up for it - if it fits in with her schedule.

"Westfield have had a great year due to the Olympics and want to fork out to celebrate.

"Even though the final contract is still being thrashed out, they're prepared to pay up to £5million for her. Organisers are expecting around 20,000 people to swamp the park."

The source added that bosses at Westfield had also considered booking The Spice Girls, but that RiRi was the first choice.

The singer released her new single 'Diamonds' last month, which is taken from her new album 'Unapologetic', due out on 19th November.
