Plan B hits out at US music industry

Plan B has hit out at the music industry in the US.

The rapper, who picked up three gongs at the Ivor Novello Awards yesterday (19.05), slammed promoters in America for making it hard for UK acts to break into the mainstream.

'It just seems to be a lot of c***sucking that has to go on in order to get your music to get played to the masses and I’m just not prepared to do that,' he ranted.

The 'She Said' singer said he would continue to tour the states but never sell out for success, according to the Metro newspaper.

His comments come despite a host of UK acts such as Tinie Tempah and Adele recently enjoying success in the US.
