Pharrell Williams Congratulates Daft Punk After Their New Album Hits Number One In US

The 'Get Lucky' duo have hit number one in the US with their fourth studio album.

Pharrell Williams has send a message of congratulations to collaborators Daft Punk after their new album topped the chart in America.

The French house duo's latest album 'Random Access Memories' reached number one on the US Billboard Album Chart this week, through four studio album to date.

Pharrell was one of a number of artists who collaborated with the pair on their new record, on number one single 'Get Lucky' and an album track called 'Lose Yourself To Dance'.

"Huge congrats to the Robots on their #1 album #randomaccessmemories! #daftpunk," the N.E.R.D. frontman tweeted last night (29th May).

The electronic music stars have scored huge attention with their latest release, their first since 2005's 'Human After All', and were number one for several weeks on the Vodafone Big Top 40 with 'Get Lucky'.

The duo recently opened up about their decision to wear robot masks on stage and admitted it is both because they enjoy the anonymity and because they feel its more exciting for people to watch.

Daft Punk's new album 'Random Access Memories' is out now.
