The world is waiting for the chance to watch One Direction on the big screen this summer - but what can fans expect? Luckily, director of the film and Super Size Me man Morgan Spurlock answered some of those burning questions on Twitter this week. Capital rounds up some of the key things to expect from This Is Us.
What Morgan said: "More shirtless moments than you can imagine, now how many of those make it into the final film we'll have to wait and see."
What Morgan said: "There will definitely be a DVD, we've shot so much amazing footage, we're never going to be able to pack it all into one movie!"
Morgan said: "You can't film 1D without capturing their wild side! And that fun attitude is infectious, it takes over the whole film crew."
What Morgan said: "We started filming last November in the states and will continue until June when we wrap in Mexico City ."
What Morgan said: "One of the things I really love about the lads is how much they care about and support each other. They really stand by one another."
What Morgan said: "There have been some really lovely emotional moments that we've captured, I think fans may shed a tear or two while watching."
What Morgan said: "Yes, they came up with it themselves. They really wanted it convey that it was them bringing you into their lives."
What Morgan said: "We had some hilarious moments while filming in Japan. It was the band's first time there and they were in awe of that city, and ROBOTS!"
What Morgan said: "They love eating McD in front of me, but on the new tour they have a trainer who's keeping them off the Big Macs!"
What Morgan said: "We spend a lot of down time w/ the band, w/ their families & friends. We really wanted you to see what their "normal" lives are like"
What Morgan said: "I really wanted to capture the global feel of their first world tour, so we'll be filming in Europe in May (incl Italy!)"
What Morgan said: "The lads have been both in front of & behind the camera. They've been filming each other on the tour bus & on day's off, great footage."
What Morgan said: "They won me over immediately. In my first meeting with them a food fight broke out with dinner rolls."
What Morgan said: "Well I know a lot of fans love those flowing locks, so I may have to plan some special "Hair-iel" shots for the film."
What Morgan said: "I had a release date 4 the film before we ever started, & w/ so much great footage, deciding what makes the cut is tough."
What Morgan said: "The band can't wait to see it, but we're ALL excited to see the finished film, aren't we?"
