One Direction's Zayn Malik Unveils New Blonde Hair At Olympics Closing Ceremony

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' star debuts radical new hairstyle as the London 2012 Olympics come to an end.

Zayn Malik debuted a new blonde hairstyle as One Direction played the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.

The group delighted fans at the Olympic Stadium and around the world with a performance of 'What Makes You Beautiful' on the back of a lorry that was being driven around the venue.

It marked the first time fans had seen Zayn's new hair cut, which features a flash of blonde in his quiff.

One Direction's performance at the closing ceremony was named Capital fans' best moment from the event.

The former The X Factor stars were joined at the closing ceremony by a host of huge names, including a reformed The Spice Girls, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran and Tinie Tempah.

The event, which officially marked the end of the London 2012 Olympics, saw the Olympic flame passed to Rio, where the Olympics will be held in four years time.

One Direction are currently putting the finishing touches to their as-yet-untitled second album, which is due to be released later this year.
