The 'Little Things' stars will appear in a live-stream interview to help the music mogul's latest venture.
One Direction are helping Simon Cowell to launch his new online talent show – You Generation.
The music mogul is creating a new YouTube platform for wannabee artists and performers to upload their own clips from around the world.
The boyband will appear as part of a promotional campaign for the show this week - taking part in a live interview.
The new project aims to take palce across 26 countrues and will let artists show off their skills by simply uploading a clip.
The contest will run for an entire year with contests taking place fortnightly.
All forms of talent are being considered from "make-up artists to style gurus, chefs to vocalists" and all judged by Simon's executives.
You Generation goes live on Wednesday, March 20 with the One Direction live stream.

Meanwhile, One Direction confirmed the title of their upcoming 3D concert movie this week.
The band are also currently on the road for their UK tour and will head to Sheffield tonight (19th march).
