The band are in talks to put their name to animated cartoon The Adventurous Adventures Of One Direction.
One Direction are in talks to launch an official cartoon series.
The band are understood to have contacted the creator of The Adventurous Adventures Of One Direction, which already has nearly six million views on YouTube.
In the original episode of the cartoon, which uses actors to voice the band members, sees Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam sent to tackle the evil Lord Faptaguise.
The cartoon has proved so popular with One Direction's fans that the band are keen to official put their voices into future episodes.
Liam told The Sun: "We loved it and there might be some more cartoons with our voices in the future."
One Direction are currently on their US headline tour in support of debut album 'Up All Night'.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that the band are set to star in a 3D movie .
