The 'Little Things' singer was friends with the star's son at the time the incident was said to have taken place.

TV presenter Yvette Fielding has hit out at claims she made remarks about One Direction singer Harry Styles sending her "disgusting" text messages.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' singer was reported to have sent the texts when he was a 16 year-old and friends with the Most Haunted star's son.

The claims came during a published interview in Woman magazine, but Yvette has since issued a statement quashing the story.

"This story is a load of b*******, he never did it and I never said it," she told The Sun.

Robin Twist, partner of Harry's mum Anne, also told the publication that an "upset" Yvette had phoned to clear the air.

"It is total rubbish. Yvette is very upset about it all — she called Anne this morning to explain what had happened," he revealed.

The Sun also reports that the TV star is now seeking legal action against Woman magazine – who stand by the printed comments.

Meanwhile, Harry and the rest of One Direction were recently pictured being sized up for their waxwork models which will feature as part of a new touring exhibit with famous tourist attraction Madame Tussauds.

The band have also this week extended their 'Take Me Home' world tour by adding a tenth night at London's O2 Arena.
