The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer admits his ties with The X Factor could have a deciding say if he gets an offer.

Olly Murs has revealed that he is "honoured" to be among the favourites to join the panel on The Voice UK but thinks Simon Cowell and his X Factor ties might jeopardise his chances.

The 'Troublemaker' star told Capital Breakfast that it will be tough filling in for the departing Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue.

"I was quite honoured [to read the stories] to be honest. It's a big job," he said. "Would I say no? I don't know. I haven't been offered anything."

He said: "To be honest, I don't think it will be my decision. I think it will be more down to Simon and the X Factor's decision if they let me do it."

"I don't think I want Simon Cowell as an enemy – so I don't think that's probably going to happen."

Olly said "If there was an offer on the table, you'd definitely consider it" but declared his own busy schedule at the moment means he probably wouldn't give him the chance to join anyway.
