Olly Murs Calls Lawson's Debut Single 'When She Was Mine" A "Proper Tune"

The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer send a message of praise to the British four-piece for their new song.

Olly Murs has described Lawson's debut single 'When She Was Mine' as a "tune" after hearing it for the first time yesterday (24th May).

The four-piece band later thanked 'Dance With Me Tonight' singer Olly for his comments, ahead of the single's official release this coming weekend.

"Hey lads @LawsonOfficial heard ya NEW Tune & Video on tv today!! Proper tunnnnnnne lads!!!" Olly tweeted on Thursday.

"@ollyofficial ahh thanks mate really appreciate that!! See you at V fest!" band member Joel Peat replied, while bassist Ryan Fletcher wrote back, "@ollyofficial cheers mate see you soon! :)."

The 28 year-old singer released his UK Vodafone Big Top 40 number one 'Heart Skips A Beat' in America this week, after rerecording the track with guest vocals from US hip-hop group Chiddy Bang.

Lawson are set to officially release their debut single 'When She Was Mine' this Sunday (27th May).
