The 'Dance With Me Tonight' star has been working with a personal trainer.

Olly Murs has given Capital FM an exclusive insight into his current fitness plan and diet.

The 'Dance With Me Tonight' star has been focusing on his health ahead of his first ever UK arena tour, which kicks off in Wales on Wednesday (1st February).

Olly recently completed an intensive ten-day workout, which saw him working on his all round fitness with personal trainer Nathan in North London.

"I've been getting worked out every day. Doing press ups, sit ups, burpies, sprints, running – everything," he said.

"Me and my tour manager are doing it and the other day Nathan got us wearing a parachute each and leg weights, and got us running doing sprints. That was well hard, an absolute killer."

But Olly admitted he had decided to focus so closely on his health after speaking to Take That's Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams.

"They always speak about how much effort you have to put into it to get yourself in really good shape," he said.

"I mean I'm not doing as big a tour as they've done, but 18 shows in 25 days is going to be a lot for me."

The Olly Murs diet:

Breakfast

Chicken fillets
Cashew nuts
Orange juice

Lunch

Three egg omlette (two yolks)
Mushrooms
Beans (for sauce)
Chicken

Dinner

Steak
Green beans

Although Olly has been finding the diet "horrible", the 'Heart Skips A Beat' star said he was feeling the benefits already.

"I've got to get the guns for the ladies and the six pack back," he said.

"Gone are the days of me getting naked in magazines two years ago. Now I've got to get back in the magazines again with a nice body."

Olly's UK arena tour begins with two dates at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff before calling at venues across the country through February.
