Nicole Scherzinger is back with new single "Poison."
Nicole shot the video in LA this week but in an American interview this week, the Pussycat Doll revealed that she was "an awkward and lanky teenager. I was a very quiet, shy child. I grew up in a small town, Louisville, Kentucky, and there werent too many Hawaiian-Filipino girls, so I stuck out like a sore thumb.
"I didnt look like everyone else and didnt feel I belonged." she said. "I was so sensitive, and boys will be boys at that age, so I was called a cry-baby because whenever anyone made fun out of me, I'd cry my eyes out. I was so awkward and lanky, the only time I felt comfortable was escaping to my room with my boom box, listening to Whitney Houston," she added. T
The star has worked with a range of producers for her debut solo album including Red One.
Scherzinger's new single, "Poison", premiered on her official website and YouTube account on October 14 and is due for release on November 29th.
