The 'Don't Hold Your Breath' star is reportedly being lined up to replace Alesha Dixon on the BBC series.

Nicole Scherzinger is apparently being lined up for a judging role on BBC series Strictly Come Dancing.

An insider told the Daily Star that the 'Right There' singer would be an ideal candidate to fill the vacant judges seat following Alesa Dixon's departure.

"Nicole is young, sexy and knows what she's talking about. Having already won the US dance show her credentials are good. And taking her off Simon would be great," they said.

Nicole is no stranger to the reality show having won the American equivalent, Dancing With The Stars, back in 2010 when she was partnered with Cheryl Cole's good friend Derek Hough.

The former Pussycat Doll recently fulfilled her role as a judge on the US version of The X Factor and has already admitted that she is yet to sign up for another series.

The 'Try With Me' star also recently revealed that she is still in love with her ex and Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.
