Nicki Minaj Pays Tribute To Disco Legend Donna Summer

The 'Beez In The Trap' rapper describes the late singer as a "beautiful disco queen".

Nicki Minaj has paid tribute to disco singer Donna Summer, whose death was announced earlier today (17th May).

The 'Starships' singer commented on the passing of 63 year-old Donna, who was best known for her 1977 disco hit 'I Feel Love', on Twitter.

"Wow, another legend gone," Nicki tweeted this evening (17th May). "Rest in peace to the beautiful disco queen Donna Summer."

It was reported this afternoon that the five-time Grammy winner had passed away at her home in Florida following a long battle with cancer.

Nicki Minaj is currently in Australia where she kicked off her 'Pink Friday' world tour yesterday (16th May) with a performance in Sydney.
