The 'Super Bass' rapper filmed a carnival-themed promo for her latest single release.
Nicki Minaj returned to her home country of Trinidad this week to film the music video for her brand new single 'Pound The Alarm'.
The 'Starships' singer was pictured decked out in traditional Trinidadian carnival attire while shooting the new promo, with her outfit featuring a huge plume of red feathers.
"Always bitter sweet when I have to leave my country," Nicki tweeted yesterday after the video shoot (5th July). "Had the best time of my life shooting this video. Thank you Trinidad! Next Stop: PARIS."
It was confirmed last month that 'Pound The Alarm' would be the next release from Nicki's second studio album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded', the fourth single following 'Starships', 'Right By My Side' and 'Beez In The Trap'.

Nicki Minaj is due to return to the UK this autumn for a brand new UK arena tour across ten dates starting at Nottingham's Capital FM Arena on 21st October.
