Nicki Minaj: "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded Is Important For Hip-Hop Culture"

The 'Starships' rapper says her album release date is going to be a "very big" deal.

Nicki Minaj says the release of her second studio album will be "crazy" as well as being an important day for hip-hop culture. 

The 'Super Bass' rapper is due to drop her sophomore record 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' next month, and has promised the record will be a "doozy".

"April 3 is gonna be a doozy. It's gonna be crazy," she told MTV News this week. "It's gonna be important for just hip-hop culture and pop culture. It's gonna be very big. 

The 'Moment 4 Life' rapper unveiled her next US single 'Roman Reloaded' last week, while she is releasing 'Starships' as her next UK single, and Nicki says both tracks are representative of the album. 

"That's just a preview of what's to come on the album," She added. "I know that people need right now. 

Nicki Minaj will release new album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' on 3rd April.
