The 'Pound The Alarm' star says she had to warn Mariah not to talk to her like that anymore.

Nicki Minaj has opened up about her much publicised spat and feud with fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey in the latest episode of her E! reality series.

The second part of Nicki Minaj: The Truth aired in the US last night (11th November), during which Nicki's reaction to footage of her argument with Mariah during the show's taping was leaked online.

"I just know that I had reached my boiling point," Nicki admits to Young Money president Mack Maine, during their discussion of the incident. "Twenty minutes before that happened, she egged me on.

"I stormed off the stage because I didn't want to do that. I left and when I came back it was another jab," the 'Va Va Voom' rapper recalled. "[Mariah] admitted she did not want another female doing the show. Thinking someone's coming to steal her shine. Nitpicking. I stay away from that."

Despite being unhappy at how things went with Mariah during their first few weeks on American Idol, as two of the panel's new additions alongside country star Keith Urban, Nicki did sound positive about their future working relationship.

She added: "I had to make it clear that if you do this again I'm going to do this again. I'm not going to allow it no more."

It was recently reported that despite their feud on the show Nicki is still keen to collaborate or perform with 'My All' singer Mariah in the future.

Last week Nicki was in the UK preparing to wrap her tour of the country, and is believed to have shot a brand new music video out on the south coast near Kent.

Nicki Minaj releases her repackaged album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up' on 19th November.
