The 'Super Bass' rapper donned a brightly coloured outfit for her highly energetic live performance.
Nicki Minaj took to the stage on American Idol last night (29th March) to perform her recent hit single 'Starships'.
The 'Moment 4 Life' rapper, who launches new album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' next week, donned a sequinned flowing skirt, a multi-coloured top and sported blond hair for the energetic performance.
After singing current hit 'Starships' Nicki thanked fans for supporting her during the show and confirmed plans to return to American Idol next week as a guest judge.
The 'Super Bass' rapper announced her headlining 'Pink Friday' UK tour earlier this month which is set to kick off on 24th June.
Nicki Minaj launches her second studio album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' on Monday (2nd April) in the UK followed by 3rd April in the US.
