Drake Confirmed For 'American Music Awards' Line-up

The 'Take Care' rapper will perform his new single 'Headlines' at the annual awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Drake and Ludacris are the latest announced for the line-up of this weekend's 2011 American Music Awards.

The 'Miss Me' rapper will perform his new single 'Headlines' at the annual awards ceremony, following the release of his second album 'Take Care' earlier this week.

Nicki Minaj and David Guetta are scheduled to open the show, while Ludacris is set to perform 'Tonight (I'm Loving You) with Enrique Iglesias.

The event's full line-up includes several other notable duets including Jennifer Lopez teaming up with Will.i.am, Christina Aguilera performing 'Moves Like Jagger' with Maroon 5 and Adam Levine doubling up to join Gym Class Heroes on 'Stereo Hearts'.

'Someone Like You' singer Adele is up for four American Music Awards in total, having been nominated for Artist of the Year, Favourite Female Artist in Pop/Rock, Favourite Album in Pop/Rock and Favourite Artist in Adult Contemporary.

The American Music Awards 2011 will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (18th November)..
