Miley Cyrus Thanks Fans After 'Wrecking Ball' Music Video Breaks VEVO Record

The 'We Can't Stop' star amassed almost 20 million views of her view in just one day.

Miley Cyrus took to Twitter yesterday to thank fans after the music video for her song 'Wrecking Ball' broke the record for most VEVO views in 24 hours.

The 'We Can't Stop' singer unveiled the video for new single 'Wrecking Ball' on Monday (9th September), which went on to break 19.3 million views on its first day alone.

The view count makes Miley's latest view the most watched on VEVO in 24 hours and breaks the record set by One Direction with 'Best Song Ever' back in July this year.

"Y'all did went so above and beyond with wrecking ball :)," Miley tweeted after hearing the news on Tuesday (10th September). "I love you so much and thank you for breaking the vevo record!!"
