Miley Cyrus Introduces Fans To New Puppy Moonie After Heartbreak Over Floyd's Death

The 'We Can't Stop' star's mum surprised her with the puppy dog after a traumatic past week.

Miley Cyrus has tweeted fans to reveal her mum has bought her a new puppy dog, after the sad death of her husky puppy Floyd last week.

The 'Wrecking Ball' star has been tweeting fans over the past week for support after the sudden death of her pet, but revealed new puppy Moonie to the world in an emotional series of messages.

"My mama knew my heart was broken & this morning I woke up to Moonie kisses," she tweeted alongside a snap of her new arrival. "No one could ever replace my baby Floyd but this precious angel is lending me some fur to cry on along with my other babies."

The US star has had an emotional past week and tweeted fans over the weekend to say she is struggling without her pet dog Floyd.

"I was/still kinda am torn about Moonie bc I would do anything 2 hold Floyd. But I can't, Moonie is giving me so much [love]," she posted. "Just don't know if it's too soon.

"But I just gotta take it one day at a time and take in all the love little Moonie is giving me."
