Fans trend 'RIP Michael Jackson' on Twitter as the world remembers the King Of Pop.
Tributes and memories have been paid to Michael Jackson, who died three years ago today (25th June).
The King Of Pop past away on the eve of his ill-fated comeback gigs, which were scheduled to take place over 50 nights at the O2 Arena in London.
Michael's legacy saw him rise from the childhood band The Jackson 5 to become arguably the biggest male solo artist of all time, releasing singles including 'Thriller', 'Billie Jean' and 'Bad'.
On Twitter today, 'RIP Michael Jackson' has become one of the top trending topics as his fans remember his pop legacy.
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson's brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon are set to return to the stage as The Jacksons this week.
"The brothers don't know this, but I've broken down several times and cried during rehearsals," Jermaine said during an interview with the Telegraph.
The Jacksons' performances, scheduled for New York and Los Angeles, will feature a medley of Michael's hits, concluding with 'Gone Too Soon'.
Michel Jackson died at his home in Los Angeles aged 50.
