Janet Jackson is reported by TMZ to have slapped his daughter Paris during the clash.

The family of Michael Jackson were involved in a feud at the late singer's mother's California home this week, according to reports.

It has been claimed that the confrontation saw Michael's sister Janet involved in an altercation with his daughter, Paris.

According to TMZ, Janet tried to take Paris Jackson's phone, sparking a clash that reportedly saw Janet strike Paris with a slap. The 14-year-old is also reported to have responded with a slap.

The unconfirmed reports follow confusion last weekend about the whereabouts of Katherine Jackson – the late singer's mother and guardian of his three children, including Paris.

Katherine was initially reported missing by a member of the Jackson family, before police said she was "safe" and staying with her daughter in Arizona under doctor's orders.

The mystery over Katherine's whereabouts and the latest development come amid an ongoing dispute over Michael Jackson's will.

The 'Billie Jean' singer died three years ago aged 50. His death came on the eve of 50 planned comeback gigs in London.
