The Maroon 5 fontman admits it’s "trippy" filming two different series of the music reality show at the same time.

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has confessed that The Voice has started filming season four with Usher and Shakira and thinks the two new judges are "amazing".

The 'Moves Like Jagger' singer told Ellen DeGeneres that he is already missing Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera despite shooting two seasons of the show at the same time.

"We're doing season three now obviously, which has been really fun. But now also shooting the beginning of season four, which is really funny because we shot with Usher and Shakira the other day," he told the chat show host. "And, that was the first time we did that, which was trippy cause it wasn't the original people, which it was also a lot of fun.

He continue: "I remember thinking to myself I love these guys, but just miss Cee Lo and Christina. And then I realize it's ok though because I'm going to see them in a week from now."

The 'One More Night' singer had been involved in a series of public disputes with Christina during previous editions of the show, but admitted the pair were getting on better than ever.

He also recently defended her over comments concerning her weight gain and told Ellen that the press should leave her alone.

Asked how filming was going on the latest series, and how he found working with Shakira, he said: "Amazing, She's so sweet. The only thing [is], Shakira and Blake have a hard time because they don't understand each other's language."
