The Voice US judge praises one of his UK counterparts for her singing voice and ability.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has revealed he is a fan of The Voice UK judge Jessie J and admires her singing ability.

The 'Moves Like Jagger' star says although he isn't very familiar with the 'Who You Are' singer's music, he was impressed when she performed her track 'Domino' live on The Voice US earlier this year.

"Jessie J is a great singer," Adam told The Sun this week. "To be honest, I didn't know much about her, but she was on our show and I was like, 'damn , that girl can sing."

The 'One More Night' star went on to say that he respects judges like Jessie and the other coaches on The Voice because they have proven ability as singers.

"The biggest problem is a lot of people on these shows can't sing," he explained. "So why are you giving them advice? But The Voice makes sense because we're all singers."

Jessie is currently hard at work writing and recording for her second studio album, and will also launch her official autobiography Nice To Meet You on 27th September.

Maroon 5 launched new album 'Overexposed' last month, and have confirmed they are likely to begin working on their next record within the next few months.
