The 'Moves Like Jagger' stars continue their dominance in the US with their latest single.

Maroon 5 have notched up their eighth week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart with recent single 'One More Night'.

The band continue to fight off competition from PSY's 'Gangnam Style' - which remains in the second spot for a seventh week.

Rihanna's 'Diamonds' climbed one spot from five to four and Fun's 'Some Nights' remains in the third spot.

The top five is rounded off by Taylor Swift with 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and the rest of the top ten features the likes of  Ke$ha, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber.

Meanwhile, the band's lead singer Adam Levine has issued a request to some of the group's fans to get permission from their parents as they look to finalise their latest promo for forthcoming release 'Daylight'.

He tweeted: "I'm reaching out to you guys because without your parents consent we cannot use your amazing footage. The video doesn't work without you!!!"

Maroon 5 will be back in the UK next summer as they head out on a series of arena dates in June.
