Maroon 5's Adam Levine Calls "BS" On Valentine's Day: "It Should Be One Of Many Days"

The 'One More Night' singer says he stands behind his feeling that the romantic holiday is a bad idea.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has called "BS" on Valentine's Day and says people should be romantic to their loved ones all the time instead of just on one day.

The 'Moves Like Jagger' star says that, although he isn't a "hater", he thinks people who make a big effort for the romantic holiday need to spend more time doing the same throughout the year instead.

'I gotta call BS on Valentine's Day," Adam revealed during an interview with Ryan Seacrest this week. "I've always stood behind this.

"There definitely is a large group of people who see Valentine's Day as this day to take the time out of your life and be romantic and tell the person you care about that you love them, and to do romantic things," the US star explained. "My thought about it is there should be so many Valentine's Days in your life if you're going to be in a good relationship.

"It kind of makes me feel almost like the people who get really into Valentine's Day are usually the people who spend the other 364 days of their lives not doing what they should do to keep it together," Adam mused. "I'm not a hater, I don't hate Valentine's Day.

"[But] to me it should just be one of many days," he added.
