The 'Moves Like Jagger' star could be set to make his big screen debut in Can A Song Save Your Life?

Maroon 5 star Adam Levine is reportedly set to star in the new film Can A Song Save Your Life? which features Keira Knightly and Mark Ruffalo.

The 'Payphone' singer has already confirmed his involvement and acting debut in the TV series American Horror Stories and could be now set to hit the big screen as well.

Deadline reports that The Voice coach will join the cast of the film which is directed by Once filmmaker John Carney and sees Judd Apatow as executive producer.

The musical film is rumoured to be based around a couple [Keira and Adam] who move to New York to pursue a career in music before the male character dumps her for a solo contract.

The Avengers star Mark Ruffalo, who is playing a down on his luck record producer, then discovers the female star in a local bar.

Meanwhile, Adam recently confessed he is a big fan of UK quiz shows and praised Deal Or No Deal and Countdown as two of his favourite's.

Maroon 5 will release their new single 'Payhone' on 17th June with their latest album 'Overexposed' dropping on 25th June.
