The Voice coach opens up on his misrepresentations and admits he wanted people to believe he was a great dancer.

Maroon 5 star Adam Levine has confessed that he doesn't believe he has the 'Moves Like Jagger" despite the success and lyrics of his band's smash hit single.

The 'Payphone' star admitted to Details magazine that he hoped everyone would believe him if he claimed to be as good a dancer as The Rolling Stones star.

"Do I really have moves like Jagger? F****** A, no, I don't. But I was going to tell everybody that I did and hoped they believed me," he revealed.

The singer also opened up on how he felt he had been misrepresented before he stared on The Voice because people simply saw a singer who was more famous for his choice of relationships.

"I've always felt a little misrepresented in the world," he said. "I felt like people only knew me as a singer who dated pretty girls. A little bit of a bimbo. Maybe I was kind of a bimbo.

"I was the music dude that was naked all the time with the girls, and that's fine, no problem with that. "But I wanted to create a little balance. When the show came around, I thought, 'People now know that I have a brain'."

Meanwhile, the 'Won't Go Home Without You' singer is set to appear on The Voice UK this weekend with Maroon 5 as they will be performing on the live final of the series alongside Ed Sheeran.
