The TV star says Adam is a surprisingly big fan of Broadway classics.

Glee star Matthew Morrison has praised Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine for giving him freedom while recording his new collection of Broadway hits, 'Where It All Began'.

The actor, who portrays Will Schuester on the popular FOX comedy, says people might not realise the 'Moves Like Jagger' singer is a big Broadway fans, and has explained how he came to be signed to Adam's 222 Records label.

"What people don't know about Adam is that he loves this era and is a big fan of these songs," Matthew revealed to the Daily Star this past week. "I've heard a couple of recordings that haven't been released of him singing these old standards.

"He approached me and I didn't know if I wanted to make another album," Matthew admitted. "But he said, 'I want to do this your way'."
