The 'Payphone' stars also performed their new single 'Daylight' on US TV this week.

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine opened up about his former feud with fellow The Voice US judge Christina Aguilera on The Ellen Show this week, saying the two are now "very close" after sorting out their differences.

The 'Moves Like Jagger' star admitted they did have some "squabbles" in the past but are good friends again now, and reiterated his previous comments about defending her over recent press stories concerning her weight.

"Yeah, I mean, the Christina thing was what it was," Adam told host Ellen DeGeneres on the show yesterday (12th November). "There were some squabbles and things like that but we're fine now and very, very, very close.

When asked about press speculation over 'Your Body' singer Christina's weight Adam had a simple message; "Just leave her alone, you know? It's a very basic thing.

"She should be left alone and no one should haggle her over her weight. That's how I feel about it."
