The 'Sexy And I Know It' duo were forced to suspend their show in Hondouras following incident.
LMFAO had to cancel a concert in Hondouras on Wednesday night (28th December) after a fire broke out in the venue.
Singer Redfoo was performing a DJ set at the Coliseo Nacional de Ingenieros when a problem with the venue's electrical system apparantly caused a blaze.
At the end of the show Redfoo took to his Twitter account to make a light-hearted comment at the incident.
"Epic concert tonight!!!! Everybody in Honduras, we set the place on fire!!!! #sorryforpartyrocking," he tweeted.
Shortly after he added: "they told us that there was a fire when we were on stage. Then we went to the dressing rooms and there was smoke in the halls."
"On a serious note. Hope everybody is safe from the fire tonight! love you Honduras!," he also tweeted.
Redfoo also spoke to MTV News about the event, stating that: "All of a sudden, right in the middle of 'Beatockin,' my manager Ian Fletcher shouted, 'There's a fire under the stage. We have to go!'
"I didn't want to go! I didn't realize how serious it was. The security escorted us out the venue. We were forced to leave a few items behind, nothing irreplaceable.
"I hope everybody is safe. Honduras fans are true party rockers! This will go down in history as one if craziest Redfoo DJ sets ever."
Local authorities at the scence believe the fire was started intentionally and althought no one was seriously injured, some fans were treated for smoke inhilation.
Meanwhile, LMFAO are among the artists who feature in Capital FM's ultimate party playlist.
