Little Mix Congratulated On 'Salute' Chart Success In US By Niall Horan And Simon Cowell

The 'Little Me' four-piece hit number one on the US iTunes chart this week with their latest offering.

Little Mix have been congratulated on their huge chart success in the US by some of their peers, including Syco label boss Simon Cowell and One Direction star Niall Horan.

The One Direction star reached out to Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Jade with a message of congratulations after their album 'Salute' hit number one on the US iTunes Chart on its first day of release.

"The lovely girls of @LittleMixOffic have are at #1 on the iTunes chart, you guys gotta keep it there for the week! It's a great album!" Niall tweeted yesterday evening, while X Factor boss Simon posted: "I have just been told that the new little mix album is number one on the US iTunes album chart. That is bloody fantastic. Congratulations."

The 'DNA' stars were also congratulated by some of their pop peers from The X Factor USA, with both Fifth Harmony and Emblem 3 tweeting in their honour.

"Congrats to our girls @LittleMixOffic on releasing their new album 'Salute' today!! See you soon," Fifth Harmony posted, while Emblem 3 also wrote: "Congrats to our @TheXFactor friends @LittleMixOffic on their 2nd album #Salute, which dropped today!"

Little Mix also performed 'Move' on both Good Morning America and at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City to celebrate the launch.
