Lawson Hail Summertime Ball 2012 Performance As The "Best Moment" Of Their Lives

The 'When She Was Mine' stars say it was "amazing" performing on the Capital FM line-up this year.

Lawson have described their fans as "awesome" after making their Wembley Stadium debut on Saturday (9th June) for the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012.

The four-piece band performed their recent single 'When She Was Mine' live at the Ball over the weekend, as part of the event's Breakers section, and say they can't believe how "amazing" the audience were during the performance.

"That was amaaaaaaazing!!! Wembley elfin Stadium! Best moment of all our lives!" drummer Adam Pitts tweeted after the show, while bassist Ryan fletcher posted yesterday (10th June): "Still can't get over how good yesterday was. Wembley you were awesome!"

"Can't get over what we did yesterday, just watched the video back on and it still isn't real!" guitarist Joel Peat added.

During the Summertime Ball Lawson also revealed to Capital that they had met Kelly Clarkson, describing her as the "nicest woman ever", and admitted they would love to record a track with her in the future.
