The 'When She Was Mine' four-piece talk to Capital about potentially teaming up with the 'Stronger' singer.
Lawson have revealed they would love to collaborate with Kelly Clarkson at some point in the future, after getting to meet the 'Since U Been Gone' singer at the Summertime Ball 2012 earlier today (9th June).
The 'When She Was Mine' four-piece describe the original American Idol winner as the "nicest woman ever", and admit they have some songs already written that she would be great on.
"She's the nicest woman ever," guitarist Joel Peat told Capital FM this afternoon, before drummer Adam Pitts added: "Me and Joel actually limboed underneath Kelly. She made us a little arch and we lambed under her [and] her friend."
Bassist Ryan Fletcher described the 'Dark Side' singer as "a hero", while singer Andy Brown revealed that a collaboration between then and Kelly could potentially happen down the line.
He added: "To be fair, we've got a few tunes where Kelly would be great on!"
Lawson performed at today's Capital FM Summertime Ball 2012 as part of the Breakers section of the event, where they took to the Wembley Stadium stage in front of 80,000 fans to perform their Vodafone Big Top 40 hit single 'When She Was Mine'.
The Summertime Ball 2012 has featured show-stopping performances from the likes of Coldplay, Jessie J, Usher and The Wanted.
