The 'When She Was Mine' four-piece have asked fans to help them "smash it" with the song's release.
Lawson's music video for 'Standing In The Dark' has reached over three million views on Vevo ahead of the single's official release this weekend.
The band are preparing to launch their third single this Sunday (14th October), and have thanked fans for supporting the music video as well as asking them to help "smash" the Vodafone Big Top 40 chart with the song's release.
"Standing in the dark video nearly on 3 million views!" singer Andy Brown tweeted on Friday (12th October). "See if we can get there before it comes out on Sunday!
"3 million views on Standing In The Dark? 100000+ likes on Facebook? High fives all round, Geese!" Lawson later posted out to their fans, to thank them for helping reach the milestone with their 'Standing In The Dark' video.
The 'Taking Over Me' four-piece are currently preparing for the release of their debut album 'Chapman Square' in a weeks time, which singer Andy has previously described as being "a long time coming".
