The 'When She Was Mine' singers' fans have described the band's first single as "amazing".
Lawson's debut single 'When She Was Mine' received its first play on Capital FM this morning (30th March), and fans have hailed it as "amazing" and a "massive tune".
The four-piece band's first release was heard on Capital today for the first time, causing the hashtag LawsonOnCapital to trend both worldwide and in the UK.
" I just died a little listening to @LawsonOfficial When She Was Mine on @CapitalOfficial #LawsonOnCapital," claireeeeeyyy tweeted.
User missbeth_tw posted: "@CapitalOfficial #lawsononcapital has made my day!!!! Love it!! It is a tuuuuuuunnnnnnneeeeeeee!!! :D."

Lawson member Adam Pitts also thanked Capital for the support today after the positive reception to 'When She Was Mine' from fans.
Adam tweeted: "Thankyou so much to @daveberry_tweet and @Lisa_Snowdon and @CapitalOfficial for our first national play :D #LawsonOnCapital."
Lawson are currently out in Los Angeles filming the music video for their debut single 'When She Was Mine'.
