Lawson Announce New Song 'Taking Over Me' As Next Single

The track will be given its first play on Capital Breakfast from 8am on Wednesday (20th June).

Lawson have announced that their second single will be 'Taking Over Me'.

The track will receive its first play on Capital FM during Capital Breakfast on Wednesday (20th June) from 8am.

The track is set to be released on 29th July will serve the follow-up to the group's debut single 'When She Was Mine', which became a big hit on the Vodafone Big Top 40 after its release last month.

"Tonight has been a great night, see you in the morning at 8am for#LawsonTOMonCapital," drummer Adam Pitts tweeted last night ahead of the Capital FM first play.

Meanwhile, Lawson frontman Andy Brown has been recording tracks with Take That star and The X Factor judge Gary Barlow this week, and described the 'sing' star as "incredible" to work with.

Andy said it had been an "amazing feeling" to team up with one of his "idols" in the studio, and uploaded a picture of the two together in the recording studio.

Lawson made their Wembley Stadium debut earlier this month with a performance at Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012 of debut single 'When She Was Mine'.

Lawson's new single 'Taking Over Me' will receive its first play on Capital FM this morning from 8am and will be officially released on 29th July.
