The 'When She Was Mine' stars admit the Take That singer is a big fan of their music.
Lawson could be set to work with Take That star Gary Barlow in the future after front man Andy Brown reportedly told the Daily Star that the legendary musician gave the band his seal of approval.
The four-piece outfit have also revealed the 'Back For Good' singer selected Andy as one of his small amount of followers on Twitter.
"To have someone like Gary wanting to work with us is amazing," he admitted. "He only follows 50 people on Twitter and I'm one of them."
Andy went on to add that he keeps a close eye on his social networking feed as he holds the star in such high regard.
"It's a bit sad, but every day I check to make sure he hasn't unfollowed me yet. Every tweet I do, I wonder what Gary will think if he reads it," he said.
The band are currently on the road on their UK tour which hit Manchester last night (19th May) and the band thanked the "amazing" crowd following the gig.
The band tweeted: "Oh our God. Manchester you were more than mad fer it tonight. That was amazing! Thankyou! Set those alarms to catch us on @t4witter 2morrow!"
Andy Brown also recently told Capital that the source of inspiration of the band's debut single 'When She Was Mine' is The Saturdays singer Mollie King – who is an ex girlfriend of his.
